Kim Kardashian says she can do it — and I call her bluff. That’s BS!

Kim Kardashian may as well call herself Pinocchio. The woman most famous for doing nothing recently declared that she was going to “try to be single my whole year of being 30.” A worthy goal, certainly, but who in their right mind would voluntarily give up men?

I can just picture what the Kardashian Konfidential star would be doing at the strike of midnight on Dec. 31, 2011. In my ¬†mind she’s dry-humping the first guy she sees, regardless of age, physique or amount of remaining hair. In my mind he’s Mr. Rogers with back hair. Yuck.

Giving up sex for that long isn’t just plain silly, it’s also UNHEALTHY. Still, I guess I can see the logic behind such a useless blanket statement. Men are infuriating, they rarely understand a thing we’re saying and our hearts harden a little more each time we go through another breakup. Unfortunately, however, we need them around for a couple very important things…and no, I am NOT just talking about sexuals here.

Although I’d personally never take on such a daunting, unpleasant task, I’d love to hear from women who HAVE tried this impressive feat. Did your mission work? Did you find true love? Did you become a nun? Let me know, LoveTrekkers — because it’s not only foolhardy, but downright impossible for me to give up the very thing I’m searching for. You understand, don’t you?

Laura, it’s been nearly a year since I’ve done the you-know-what. And this wasn’t a conscious decision, but I decided that I didn’t want to do the one night stand thing anymore and now I can’t get past the second date with anyone because I find them boring or too controlling. So…time keeps on slipping and the one year anniversary is approaching. All I have to say is, thank God for battery operated toys. The real test will be if Kim gives those up as well!
