There are only a select few chosen, but Tyler gets my vote!

Ah, spring. A time of flowers, a time of sunshine, a time of…men. Yes, that’s right, not only is this officially when you start to see the boys of pre-summer running around outdoors, but it also happens to be when we decide who’s sexy enough to make the cut for Cosmopolitan magazine’s Hottest Bachelor search. Oh, the options! I’m a nominating virgin, but this year I decided to throw a good friend’s name in the ring. He’s looking for love, you’re looking for love…let’s make a match!

So let me tell you about Tyler, and why he’s so worthy of this Bachelor of the Year title. He’s a 24-year-old Aries who loves socializing, but is cool with introspective days alone on the beach or bike-riding to clear his head. Although he lives in California, he is not a Hollywood douchebag; in fact, he’s one of the very few people I know that doesn’t have a side career as an actor. Nope, he’s normal — this San Francisco-born boy works in insurance.

The best thing about Ty is that he’ll go out of his way to help a friend, which is dating code for loyal boyfriend. He is also a gentleman and holds open doors for every girl he encounters. You might laugh and think that isn’t much, but do you know how rare it is these days to find a true gentleman? It’s a lost art. Most guys are content to let you open the door for them! Please.

So you have my reasons for nominating a pal, but why should you nominate a good guy friend? In addition to totally helping out his love life, you’ll have the satisfaction of having done something good. Oh yeah, and did I forget to mention that if he wins, he wins $10,000? He’ll be footing your drink bill for the entire year!
