What are guys looking for this autumn?
When it comes to beauty and fashion, men and women have varying opinions about what is and what is not attractive. All you need to do is check out ManRepeller — a site devoted to fashion styles that women covet and which confuse men completely — for tangible proof. So when in doubt regarding beauty or fashion, one should always turn to an expert...who also happens to be a man. The best of both worlds!
LoveTrekker decided to pick the brain of Warren Tricomi LA’s West Coast partner, Kaz Amor for some helpful, follicle-friendly tips. He also happens to be the creator of our favorite fall hair care products, VoCe (yes, we like anything that happens to let us discover our individuality, or ‘voice’. Go figure). Read this religiously; you won’t be sorry.
THREE HAIR CARE QUESTIONS WITH KAZ AMOR
* Sexiest style?
“I love model Rosie Huntington-Whitely’s look from the November issue of Vogue Germany.”
“Hands down, the go-to color for fall is a golden blonde with soft, copper highlights.”
* Best cut?
“Soft, long layers are amazing for fall. Not only van you wear your hair down for a tousled, sexy look, but you can also create different styles like a messy chignon or even a messy bun.
“To style your hair while wearing it down, blow hair out with VoCe Smoothing Cream and finish with Surf Mist to give it a soft, sexy separation.
“For the chignon or bun, use VoCe’s Volume Mist to create some height and texture at the crown so that the hair is not perfectly smooth. Pull back and wrap hair around to create a bun.”
Now, let’s talk about VoCe (our voice needs to be heard, after all). VoCe products work and smell like a dream. Being the beachy sort, I’m especially sold on the aforementioned Surf Mist, but there are other products in the range that are just as in demand.
Hydrate IT is a paraben and sulfate-free daily conditioner that almost acts as a treatment mask (and smells like coconut, jasmine and peach). The Hydrate IT shampoo is just as fantastic, especially given the sad state of dry hair during the winter months. The leave-in conditioner is also great as both a detangler and a hair smoother.
