I am PISSED. Before I even moved to Los Angeles years ago, I took one look at the adorableness of Santa Monica at night and I swore that if I ever found myself living in Southern California, SM would be my spot of choice. Years later, I’m still in love with my neighborhood. I feel lucky every day to be here, gazing out at the Pacific Ocean from my balcony, soaking in the orgasmic sunsets and feeling the sunshine on my face. Unfortunately, a study conducted by AshleyMadison.com, a dating site for ‘discreet married daters’, Santa Monica is the number one spot for the unfaithful in all of LA. SHAMEFUL.

Even worse, the Westside that I love so much is home to nine out of 10 of the top LA districts for cheaters. Which means, apparently, that plaid-clad hipsters are much better at keeping it in their pants than surfers and seemingly sweet entrepreneurs. Hm, OK, when I put it that way…

The site adds that across the City of Angels, there are more than 475,000 members who are going straight to hell for cheating. Though it sounds like a lot (it is), we’re not so bad in comparison to other US cities (incorrigible two-timers can be found in Washington D.C., San Antonio, Phoenix, Salt Lake City, Oklahoma City, Pittsburgh, Boston, Chicago, Dallas and Orlando).
