It’s majestic

I know I should be telling you about the kind of men you’d meet in Napa Valley, but the truth is, I haven’t a clue. Yes, I “might” (I did) have met someone, but that was pure luck. Napa is the kind of place you go as part of a couple, and there is no better place to stay while you’re sipping wine that the Carneros Inn.

I just spent an amazing weekend at this amazing place courtesy of Audi, and I felt like the luckiest girl in the world upon heading home to LA. Everything was just perfection.

For starters, each guest has their own cottage with uniquely colored doors (lest you get so drunk that you don’t remember which room is yours). Each cottage has its own outdoor patio area with heat lamps, sun loungers and an outdoor shower. There is also an indoor shower, of course, and HEATED FLOOR TILES in case your tootsies get cold at night.

Being a gym bunny, I was stoked to find that the workout room was filled with great equipment. Free yoga classes and vineyard runs are also offered.

There are two pools, though the ‘adult’ one also has a hot tub (and you can probably guess where I spent most of my trip), sat beside deck chairs that overlook the wide California sky. It’s romantic all right, regardless of whether you’re sat with your respective other at sunrise, sunset or stargazing at nighttime.

(As a side note, I have to mention Justin, who gave me the best damn massage of my life. The spa also offers a treatment that covers your body in honey. Hot).

You know me — I’d never say something I didn’t 100% truly believe, and I have to say that the Carneros is one of the top three hotels I’ve ever stayed at in my life. It’s amazing.

Next time, I’d love to enjoy the whole weekend with the man of my dreams – though meeting a dream man there is certainly enough for now.
