Not to sound all ‘nyah nyah’ you missed it, but sadly, Septemberfest has come and gone. To that I can only say: Octoberfest awaits. I don’t know what in the hell is wrong with me (OK, that’s a lie). Every single Thursday last summer I made up an excuse to avoid the FREE concerts at Santa Monica pier. I had to wash my hair. I had to work. I had to sleep. And so forth. All these things were probably true, as I had a hellish, time-consuming job around this time last year, but there is no excuse for such a grave misstep.
